Our mission is to lead initiatives and support nonprofits that make our communities stronger and benefit people in need in eastern Bergen County
Our service area includes the following towns: Alpine, Bergenfield, Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Dumont, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Harrington Park, Haworth, Northvale, Norwood, Old Tappan, Rockleigh and Tenafly.

Our Annual Grant Applications are due to The Community Chest by May 15, 2024.
Join us at one of New Jersey’s finest golf courses for a spectular day of golf benefitting The Community Chest. Golfers may join as individuals or as a foursome.

A Connector is a community person interested in reaching out to people who may be experiencing social isolation.
There are many outreach organizations and programs in which to help our community. Included are the many resources available.

THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
The Community Chest was founded to provide grants to agencies that serve those facing the greatest hardships in our community. Awards help fund agency operations or direct services to clients. The largest source of our grants to local nonprofits is through donations made to our ANNUAL CAMPAIGN.
