The Annual Campaign
The Community Chest was founded to provide grants to agencies that serve those facing the greatest hardships in our community. Awards help fund agency operations or direct services to clients. The largest source of our grants to local nonprofits is through donations made to our ANNUAL CAMPAIGN.
Your gift is so vital. Agencies provide a wide range of critical services, such as mental and physical health care, meals for neighbors facing food insecurity, assistance to women, children and families, relief from social isolation for senior citizens, and so much more. Demands for services and administrative costs have risen significantly for our nonprofit partners since the onset of the pandemic. Through your generosity, our agency grantees will be able to continue serving their clients without interruption.
Since our founding, The Community Chest has expanded its work to include emergency relief and funding. We provided meals and essentials to thousands in the wakes of COVID and Hurricane Ida.
We now also offer professional development to partner agencies to help them maximize their effectiveness for the client populations they serve. Training is offered at no cost to their middle management and senior staff.
You may specify where you want your gift to be allocated and type of donation (In honor of, In memory of).
