RACIAL JUSTICE LIBRARY DISPLAYS

In response to growing concerns about racial inequality, both nationally and locally, a group called the Coalition for Unity and Equity (CRUE) was formed in Englewood. The Community Chest is an active member of CRUE. While CRUE sponsored a number of excellent educational programs during the year, The Chest assumed primary responsibility for a project involving local libraries in eastern Bergen County, creating racial justice book displays. . We hope to expand this program to other local libraries in the future.
