LIght up the Night against Domestic Violence: Center for Hope and Safeety

Light Up the Night Against Domestic Violence is our annual candlelight vigil at Van Saun Park to raise awareness and remember lives lost due to domestic violence.

During the month of October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Center for Hope & Safety invites the community to an outdoor evening vigil at Van Saun Park, near the Pathway to Self-Sufficiency, to help raise domestic violence awareness and remember lives lost due to domestic violence. Attendees include Bergen County domestic violence survivors and family members of victims who share their stories of survivorship, hope, healing and remembrance throughout the vigil.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Center for Hope and Safety

Let's come together to bring awareness to domestic violence in Bergen County and to continue working to stop it, show our solidarity with survivors, and raise funds for our programs and services. Our life-saving work not only supports victims and survivors, but also educates our community about domestic abuse and prevention to help break the cycle of violence.

It all comes together with the walk on October 28
