Connections Training

A Connector is a community person over 18 years old who is interested in reaching out to people who may be experiencing social isolation to facilitate “connection.”

This role involves identifying individuals within various spheres of the community, such as one’s congregation, community, school, workplace, and beyond. Connectors will be trained at the mandatory Orientation, where they can meet other volunteers and learn best practices in responding to Service Recipients.

By extending a caring hand and cultivating genuine relationships, the Connector plays a pivotal role in reducing feelings of isolation and enriching the lives of those they connect with.

Virtual Training is Wednesday, November 8th: 7-8:30pm.

A Zoom link will be sent on the morning of training.
