The Young Women’s Leadership program
The Community Chest is invested in encouraging young women to be involved as community leaders now and in the future. Each year the Community Chest offers a Young Woman's Leadership Award. Eligible Applicants are high school juniors and seniors. One senior winner will be awarded $5000; two junior winners will be awarded $1,000 each and the opportunity for an internship
The deadline for applications has passed. Applications are being reviewed. Thank you for all those who have applied. We will be announcing the winners in the spring.
THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
The Community Chest was founded to provide grants to agencies that serve those facing the greatest hardships in our community. Awards help fund agency operations or direct services to clients. The largest source of our grants to local nonprofits is through donations made to our ANNUAL CAMPAIGN.
